 Tribute to Robert Hoy

First chairman of the Paso del Norte Health Foundation. Founding board member of the Paso del Norte Foundation, Bob Hoy was a lot of things to a lot of people in El Paso. Above all else, he was a caring friend and we are grateful for his leadership, his support and advocacy of the work by the Paso del Norte Health Foundation and the Paso del Norte Foundation.

“We will miss Bob deeply and dearly,” said Health Foundation CEO Myrna Deckert, reflecting on Mr. Hoy’s passing in June. “He was a dear personal friend and an unwaivering partner of the Paso del Norte Health Foundation, believing passionately in our mission to create a region driven by the power of healthy living.”

The Paso del Norte Foundation and the Paso del Norte Health Foundation extend our sincerest condolences to Rose Ann, son Steven, and to the entire Hoy family. We will always remember Bob fondly and we are a better community because of his lifelong commitment to furthering health and wellness in El Paso.
